What is the difference between FantasyGo and regular fantasy football?
FantasyGo is a weekly fantasy sports platform. While regular fantasy sports take place over an entire season or tournament, FantasyGo players compete in contests that take place over a single match or single round of matches. FantasyGo is the only pool-based fantasy sports platform in South Africa, meaning that the more people that enter a contest, the bigger the prize pool.
Is FantasyGo free to play?
It is free to register a FantasyGo account, however most contests require an entry fee in order to enter. The amount to enter differs depending on the contest and will be displayed on the contest page.
Which countries is FantasyGo available in?
FantasyGo is available to anyone with a valid South African identification document.
Is there a FantasyGo mobile app?
The FantasyGo website is fully functional on mobile, tablet, and desktop. We are in the process of developing a mobile app. In the meantime, you can add a FantasyGo shortcut icon to your mobile phone using the instructions below.
How do I add a FantasyGo app icon to my mobile phone?
- On Android: open up https://app.fantasygo.io in Google Chrome, tap the three dots in the top right-hand corner, then select Add to Home Screen.

Which sports are available on FantasyGo?
Football (soccer), rugby, cricket, and F1 are available to play on FantasyGo. We hope to add other types of sport in the future.
Which football (soccer) leagues are available on FantasyGo?
FantasyGo has regular contests for the English Premier League and the UEFA Champions League as well as selected contests for the South African Premiership and other selected cup competitions.
What is Power7?
Power7 is FantasyGo’s new pool-based score predictor game with a jackpot of R5million. Users can win cash prizes from the pool for getting as little as 3 out of 7 predictions correct. 7 out of 7 correct predictions will land you R5million!
Is there an age restriction to play FantasyGo?
Yes. All users need to be at least 18 years of age to register and play FantasyGo.
